Christina Vidal- New Music Seminar Red Carpet VJ
Christina Vidal is a beautiful and talented young actress lighting up the Hollywood scene. She just wrapped a series regular role on ALL RISE, a pilot for NBC. Previously she was seen in Fox Searchlight's I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE, a 2007 film directed by and starring Chris Rock, and as a guest star on NBC's ER. She also recently starred in the feature film SEE NO EVIL, a Lions gate production. Christina recurred on UPN's GIRLFRIENDS as the role of the Trainer. She shot HOTEL, a TV movie for UPN, as well as booked a series regular role on the new show 10-8 for ABC. In June of 2005, Anthony Rich began operating as the Manager of A&R for Jive Records / Sony BMG. He has contributed in the A&R of several projects including Kelis, Ciara, The Clipse, Weird Al Yankovic and T Pain. He is also responsible for all remixes on Jives electric roster. Apex "The Ring Tone Guru" began his music career running his own radio show at St. John's University. While there he also ran a marketing company catering to the independent community and interned at J Records, Czar Ent., and Sirius Satellite Radio. Apex graduated in 2005 and was hired to work for a newly launched company, Thumblay.com, which is now the #1 ring tone company in the United States. Apex is now head of the independent artist program, responsible for implementing the first program dedicated to independent artist for mobile phones. Famously known throughout the music industry for his instrumental mix-tapes, Sickamore began his music journey as a well know DJ. This eventually landed him an A&R position at Beat Street Records. Sickamore possessed an undeniable ear for talent and good music. He is the liaison responsible for bringing Saigon and Just Blaze together. Sickamore later became the Director of A&R for Atlantic Records. After playing a significant role at the major label for a few years, Sickamore left to begin his own company, The Famous Firm. Conrad Dimanche has had an unprecedented year as one of the emerging giants in the record industry. Eric Parler- Director of Promotions Def Jam
Eric "EP" Parler started out doing promotions for Rocafella Records. Jay-Z's classic Reasonable Doubt Album was his first project. Shortly after, he caught the attention of Electra Records and became the Director of Mix Show Promotions, where he worked for many years. Eventually EP left Electra, joining Jive Records as the Director of Urban Radio. EP has worked on the projects of major recording artists such as Ciara, Justin Timberlake, and Usher. The owner of TVT soon noticed the enormous amount of talent EP possessed, and brought him aboard to work with Lil John and Pit Bull. EP has made major strides throughout the music industry. He is currently the Director of Promotions for Def Jam records working with a roster of stars like Jay-z, Rhianna, Neyo, and new artist Ace.

Tori Sparks- Glass Mountain Records
Tori Sparks calls Nashville home, but spends most of her time on the road in the U.S. and Europe. Called "a knockout" by the Village Voice, her dynamic live show is equal parts soulful singing and zany stand-up-style humor. At the age of 24, Tori wns her own publishing company (Hand Over Foot) and record label (Glass Mountain Records). She has given guest lectures on the music business at colleges and schools across the country. Tori's latest album Under This Yellow Sun was roduced by indie rock veteran David Henry (R.E.M., Ben Folds, Cowboy Junkies). The album has been praised by Relix, Harp, Performing Songwriter, Paste, XM Radio, and others. Under This Yellow Sun was recently licensed to MTV, Lifetime, and Oxygen Networks for use in their 2008 television seasons. Latin Assassin- Music Director WENZ 107.9FM Cleveland Ohio
Heard every weeknight on Cleveland's Blazin Hip Hop and R&B station Z1079, The One and Only "EL 1NICO" "Boricua" is blazin the waves with the "Battle of the Beats" the 9 o'clock mix tape with "The Commissioner of The League Crew" Mick Boogie and the "Home Jamz" where local talent can showcase their skills. Hired back in 1999, He worked his way up from board operator and promotions team member to seasoned on air personality and production assistant. Born in Bronx, New York but raised in Cleveland, the "Hispanic causing panic" graduated from Lincoln West High School located on the west side of Cleveland. Staying true to his roots he always reaches out and does various events involving the youth of Cleveland and Lorain, Ohio. Joseph Segarra- Account Manager at Alloy-Access Media + Marketing
Joseph "JO" Segarra started learning the marketing and advertising world by obtaining a paid internship at Ruder Finn. Joseph worked on accounts such as Ricoh, Liz Claiborne, Sony Mini Disc, Lycos, United Jewish Association, Pfizer, Coca-Cola and much more during his time spent at Ruder Finn. Joseph graduated in 2004 from the University of Hartford with a BA in Advertising and Communications. Joseph landed his first music industry position at TVT Records where he handled radio promotions and Street Marketing for Lil Jon, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins, O-Solo and Jacki-O. Joseph was granted the opportunity to work for Pierce Promotions in which he worked as an Assistant Tour Manager to the Verizon Fios account.. From there Joseph was recruited by the SVP Universal Motown/CMG, Tone Capone to help launch the new latin division within Motown. Joseph became the Director of Marketing, and launched the first ever Salsa & Reggaeton album "Los Cocorocos," and Zion's (CERTIFIED GOLD SELLING) "The Perfect Melody." While managing the day to day tasks at Universal Motown/CMG. Joseph multi-tasked and also ran the boutique marketing compay Street Legal Marketing with Tone Capone, Eric Parler and Amber Ravenel in which he struck deals with major brands, artists and labels. JO also at that time was the Associate Producer of Hot 97 Street Soldiers Hosted by Lisa Evers, where he booked all the talent that aired on the show every Sunday. Marlo Martin-Jackson- Ohio Valley & West Coast Regional, Kedar Entertainment
Marlo Martin-Jackson is one of the most well liked and respected people in the music business. A woman of many talents with over 15 years of experience and a knack for breaking records, her company Double M Entertainment is one of the best at creating and executing successful promotions and marketing campaigns. She has worked as a National (based in New York) for Mercury Records, Relativity Records, Gee Street Records, Arista Records and J COR Entertainment. Marlo relocated to Cleveland 7 years ago after she got married while working for Koch Entertainment. Vaughn Jefferson- Director of A&R for MTV2's Monday Night Fight Klub
Vaughn Jefferson, known to the industry as VonJeff, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He started the industry appearing in music videos as an extra and work his way up to principle over the years. While learning the In's and outs of the industry he furthered his education at Kings borough Community College where he obtained his A.A.S in Broadcasting Communications. In 2003 he incorporated, W.R.F. Armed in Grammar, his own management company. Currently, he's the Director of A&R for MTV2's Monday Night Fight Klub, President of Indie City Industry (Consultant Co.), and Fashion Assistant for DeeDee Designs. is defining the next level in turntable domination. Though based in the Midwest, DJ G Spot's dedication, style and business savvy is affecting the nation. His motto is "To be the best at what I do." And do, he does. With a coveted spot holding mix shows on KJMM-Tulsa and 1.FM, getting busy at the hottest nightclubs in the nation weekly and blowing up the streets with the gulliest mix CDs. G has also been recognized for his excellent skills as a mix master. Elliot Aronow- RCRD LBL, Online Media Pioneer
Following his graduation from the Princeton Record Exchange (and Rutgers University) in 2002, Aronow quickly hustled his way into a gig at the internationally-distributed music and lifestyle magazine the FADER at the age of 22. While writing and editing for the FADER, Aronow provided vital early coverage to the movers and shakers in the bustling music scene in NYC, as well as abroad in Europe and Canada. Following the FADER, Aronow founded and ran his own boutique consulting shop, the Simple Mission LLC, whose clients included Gnarls Barkley, Kanye West, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Spin Magazine, MySpace and Franz Ferdinand.  In November of 2007, Aronow co-founded the world's first ad-supported online music label/blog network, RCRD LBL, with online media pioneer Peter Rojas (Engadget.com, Weblogs, Inc) and Downtown Records (Gnarls Barkley, Santogold, Cold War Kids) where he works as the Creative Director and VP of A and R. The site has attracted praise from the likes of the Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, Fortune, the LA Times and MTV and is regarded by many as a watershed moment in the distribution of musical content in the online space. Ines Rooney comes serving as founder and CEO of Music Industry Solutions, LLC and CEO of Mas Flow, Inc a label she created and organized with Luny Tunes; the most successful Latin producers of our time. Mas Flow is also the one album released by Luny Tunes that revolutionized the Music Industry and the Reggaetón Genre. Under Ines Rooney's management, the label has achieved incredible success. Word spread quickly about his hard work and love for the business, and Nigil was discovered as a hot, new A&R talent and was hired at Universal/Motown. Nigil is currently the Director of A&R as has signed artist such as Jackie Chain (Hip-Hop), Dem Get Away Boyz ( Hip-Hop/R&B), Jimmy Robbins (Pop/Rock), and POB (Hip-Hop). PJ Jones started the day after graduating high school...Her father Sonny Jones was the owner of the Dazz Band and convinced his daughter with the promise of a new car that this would be her career. April of 09 will mark her 20th year at Warner Bros. and 29 years in the music business! PJ started out hanging posters for Motown in record stores to getting airplay and exposing artist to the marketplace with promotions and marketing strategies. Her early experiences started with artist such as The Dazz Band, Diana Ross, Lionel Ritchie for Motown and the group One Way at MCA records...She is responsible for breaking records at Warner Bros. for Al B. He's been able to garner and maintain relationships with well respected leaders in the music industry such as Troy Taylor (Founder/CEO Songbook Ent). As a student of life Steelo is always hungry for knowledge, always vigilant for raw talent and the next "big thing".
